Wait a Minute, Back Up
Oh, man, my chilla-ness has already been challenged and it hasn’t even been a week yet. Many people are excited for us, especially our mothers, and it’s been hard to not let their overexcitement (mostly my mother’s) turn into Erik’s and my stress. We’re excited to be married, but we want it to be a relaxed and simple affair. I just have to remember that 1) they’re just excited and want to be a part of it all, and 2) I basically have to tune out about 95% of what they say.
