A couple of summers ago Bradley lost my ten–year–old backpack at the Museum of Science. Alissa and I are going to be doing some light hiking and a lot of walking around in Kauai and so we went on a hunt for a new backpack.
In case it wasn’t apparent by the fact that it’s been two years since my backpack disappeared let me state it outright – I don’t really use backpacks these days. I have a bag I carry around with paints and brushes, my iPad, and a notebook. We even somehow lived without a backpack on vacation in Orlando last summer. We were about to put down $70 for a new backpack when I discovered these EMS Packable Packs.
These huge, lightweight (.5 lbs) bags squeeze down into a tiny space when not in use. I don’t see that being that necessary on the Honeymoon when it will likely be filled with clothes, paints, brushes, and the iPad, but when we get home again it will take up just a tiny space in our closet. That is priceless to me.
